Best Korean Day Spa + Hotel
This past Sunday, I spent the better part of the day with my sister-in-law and best friend Pampered in luxury at Sojo spa club. Frankly, I am mad at myself for not experiencing this unparalleled spa experience sooner.
Sojo Spa Club is a Korean-inspired spa located along the Hudson River in Edgewater, New Jersey, with a beautiful view of the Manhattan Skyline. The staffs are friendly and attentive. Each room provides distinct and diverse health benefits and will leave feeling euphoric, rested, and ready to meet any challenges that life has to offer. It doesn’t get any better than this, right?
The building is massive, spreading across 140,000 square feet over four floors; it’s truly a piece of paradise. You are transformed into an oasis from the time you arrive with a valet parking option for $12 or complimentary parking located at the corner of River Rd. The Korean spa is a barefoot facility; however, you are welcome to walk with socks or purchase at the front desk. The first floor is where you pay, go through security and leave your shoes in a locker.

We first headed to the fourth floor, where the main locker rooms are located. We received complimentary robes and Towels. Next, we changed into our swimsuits and began to explore the facility. Within the locker room is where the “Bath House” is located, there are a few hot tubs, a steam room, two cold tubs, and it’s also here the magical, authentic Korean Body scrub takes place.

There is a Himalayan salt room ( my favorite), a Charcoal sauna, a white clay room, an infrared sauna, and a red clay room. The Ice room, Ganbanyoku room, and Halo are excellent therapy rooms providing health benefits for your wellbeing. To read all about health benefits and see pictures. Click here
After enjoying a heated salt stone massage and countless amenities, including the indoor pool and the outdoor infinity pool, it was time to grab a bite to eat and relax in one of the indoor lounge areas with a view of New York and the Hudson River.
Our day was fantastic, and we vow to visit Sojo Spa Club at least once a month, prioritizing self-care.
A spa day at Sojo Spa club would make a great gift to your significant other, friend, or mom for the holidays.
*Tips bring your bathing suit, and I’ll suggest arriving early. Daily reservations are recommended because walk-in availability is not always guaranteed. You also need to show your vaccination card along with your photo ID. Mask is required upon entry.
